Sakata INX’s initiatives in Printed Electronics -From Materials to Devices

The realization of printed electronics devices requires not only the development of elemental technologies such as materials, processes, and equipment, but also the construction of total solutions that optimally integrated these components.

In this presentation, we will introduce development examples of circuit materials and adhesive materials that Sakata INX has been working on, as well as a flexible, ultra-thin, long-range/large-area temperature sensor currently under development, which builds upon the knowledge gained through these efforts.

The success of ISO certificated DOP, Direct On Paper RFID antenna showed the potential of paper based printed electronics in disposable scenarios. Further successful developments around DOP RFID antenna like NFC capable biosensor on same substrate has proven the diverse possibility to apply DOP solution in one-time-use medical applications e.g. skin patch.
