「+20 years research in Flexible printed and hybrid electronics – overview and future focus」

VTT have been actively involved in flexible printed and hybrid electronics research from early 2000. This presentation focuses on early expectations of this promising technology field, developments during past 20 years from technology and investment point of view. Future focus topics on sustainability, wearable - and structural electronics, biosensors and diagnostics will be presented.

「Contributing to a Circular Society through Direct Conversion of Mixed Plastics into Basic Chemicals」
Mr. Tsunehiko Yokoi (Senior Manager, Sustainability Management Division, Suntory Holdings Ltd.)

This session will cover a unique chemical recycling technology for used plastics developed by Anellotech, a U.S.-based company, along with initiatives by R Plus Japan in building a supply chain for societal implementation.
